Maurizio Sarri will be happy now, says Eden Hazard

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard believes that boss Maurizio Sarri will be very much pleased with his team's performance as they beat Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge Stadium on Saturday.

The Italian, Sarri, was openly critical of the squad after 4-0 defeat by Bournemouth earlier in the week and the 28-year-old was one of the players reportedly singled out by the manager.

But Eden Hazard believes the Blues responded in the right manner at home with their biggest victory since November 2016.

Chelsea won with a huge margin, 5-0, over Huddersfield Town through goals scored by Gonzalo Higuain in the 16th and 69th minutes, Eden Hazard (45th, 69th), and David Luiz (86 th). With this victory, Hazard believed that Maurizio Sarri should be very happy and relieved.

"We played very well in this match and scored five goals. Previously, fans were not happy because we lost last Wednesday, and now they are happy, so we are also happy," Eden Hazard said to Four Four Two.

"We played one of the best games of our season. I also believe Sarri will be happy because he wants a reaction from us and we give it. We must always win in this way. This is the way the manager wants to play," the Belgian added.

Furthermore, Hazard believes that the two goals scored by Higuain will start their new productive partnership at Chelsea.

"We will try to work together. Higuain is a new player but he knows what the coach wants. He is a great striker and he can score a lot of goals," Hazard stressed again.

This victory cut the bad trend of Chelsea after always losing in the last two games in the Premier League. An additional three points makes Chelsea return to fourth place in the standings with a collection of 50 points.
