Anthony Martial to sign new five-year deal at Manchester United
French forward Anthony Martial has been offered a five-year deal by Manchester United, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho was keen to offload Martial this summer but any such move was rejected by Ed Woodward, United's executive vice-chairman.
The Red Devils blocked boss Mourinho's attempts to sell Martial, 22, in the summer after the French forward's agent Philippe Lamboley confirmed he wanted to leave.
Martial was left out of the squad completely when United lost at home to Spurs on Monday night, having been substituted in the shock defeat to Brighton eight days earlier.
The Man Utd footballer still has 12 months left on his current £90,000-a-week contract and knows that the club intend to activate a 12-month extension if he doesn't sign a new one.
Anthony Martial, who joined United from Monaco for £36million in 2015, scored 11 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League giants last season.
